ABOUT THE CLASS
Postnatal Mum & Baby Yoga (8 weeks - crawling)
We are well aware of the many pressures on new Mamas and so we offer you a relaxed and welcoming environment to move in with your new arrival. Our mother and baby sessions are suitable from two months postpartum until crawling, and will focus on safely bringing the body back to strength following the changes of pregnancy. Your own pace and baby’s needs are fully accommodated, we have play mats for the babies and they love to watch mumma move. These sessions are always 90 minutes to give you time to enjoy herbal tea and a chat with other local Mums before you leave
Jessica : Move co-founder
Jessica has been teaching yoga for the last five years, interspersing her time in the city with spells in the ashrams of India and the Amazon jungle. She came to yoga at a time of great personal loss and has found it to be an incredible anchor during life’s inevitable storms, and a fundamental guidebook for living well. Jess’s influences are many and varied, and she cherry picks her favourites to bring awareness, curiosity and a pinch of philosophy into an embodied, joyful flow. She is dedicated to helping others develop a greater intimacy with themselves and believes that yoga is the perfect place to begin that journey.
- The opportunity to start or reconnect with your yoga practice after childbirth in a safe environment.
- The flow will work to strengthen and correct posture, balance and alignment after childbirth.

What to expect?
45 / 50 minutes of a gentle flow yoga class. We leave 30/40 mins after class to chat with other new mums and relax with a cuppa.
What to bring?
Wear something you feel comfortable to move in and bring a muslin and perhaps your baby’s favourite toy. We have play mats for the babies, and yoga mats and props for you. Please note that the studio is footwear free.
